Privacy Policy

In short

CanItRun does not have user accounts, login systems, or forms. It does not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiable information. The only data collected is anonymous analytics used to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Microsoft Clarity

This site uses Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records how visitors interact with the site, including:

• Mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior
• Page views and navigation paths
• Device type, screen resolution, browser, and operating system
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level from IP address)

Clarity does not have access to keystroke data on this site (there are no forms or text inputs) and does not track you across other websites. No personally identifiable information is collected by Clarity on this site.

Clarity may set cookies on your browser to distinguish between visitors and to replay session recordings. You can opt out of Clarity tracking at any time by using Microsoft's choice page.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to measure aggregate traffic. Google Analytics collects:

• Page views, session duration, and navigation paths
• Referring source (search engine, direct, or linking site)
• Device type, screen resolution, browser, and operating system
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level from IP address)

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses — IP data is used transiently to derive coarse location and is then discarded. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics from this site, and no user IDs are configured.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can opt out on any site that uses it by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising

The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies. Mediavine collects information including, but not limited to, IP address, operating system type and version, device type, language, and web browser type. This information may be shared with Mediavine's partners (Google being always one of them, giving them the ability to place and read their own cookies on your browser) in order to personalize the advertisements you see.

• You can opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of the use of cookies by other third-party vendors by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page, or, on a mobile device, the AppChoices app.
• Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads — you will still see non-personalized advertisements. You can also manage cookies through your browser's settings.

Some links on this site — specifically links to rent a GPU on RunPod, shown next to datacenter-tier GPUs and models that don't fit your selected hardware — are affiliate links. Cookies

CanItRun itself does not set any cookies. However, Microsoft Clarity may set cookies (such as_clck,_clsk, andCLID) for the purpose of session recording and visitor identification.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to distinguish returning visitors and group page views into sessions. Mediavine and its advertising partners may additionally set advertising cookies as described above.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of the calculator.

Data retention

Clarity session recordings and analytics data are retained by Microsoft for up to 13 months. Google Analytics retains user-level and event-level data for the period configured on the property (Google's options range from 2 to 14 months); aggregate reports are retained indefinitely by Google. We do not store, export, or process any of this data ourselves.

Third-party sharing

CanItRun does not sell, rent, or share your data. However, Mediavine and its advertising partners — a third-party ad management service — may collect and use data for advertising purposes in accordance with their own privacy policies. Data collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google under its privacy policy. Analytics data collected by Microsoft Clarity is likewise governed by Microsoft's privacy policy. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data held about you. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion.

Because CanItRun does not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, we do not hold any data to access or delete on your behalf. For Clarity data, you can exercise your rights directly through Microsoft's privacy tools. For Google Analytics data, you can opt out with the opt-out browser add-on or manage your data through Google's privacy controls.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Significant changes may also be announced via the project repository.
