In short

CanItRun does not have user accounts, login systems, or forms. It does not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiable information. The only data collected is anonymous analytics used to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Microsoft Clarity

This site uses Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records how visitors interact with the site, including:

  • Mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior
  • Page views and navigation paths
  • Device type, screen resolution, browser, and operating system
  • Approximate geographic location (country/city level from IP address)

Clarity does not have access to keystroke data on this site (there are no forms or text inputs) and does not track you across other websites. No personally identifiable information is collected by Clarity on this site.

Clarity may set cookies on your browser to distinguish between visitors and to replay session recordings. You can opt out of Clarity tracking at any time by using Microsoft's choice page.

Google AdSense

This site uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads. Google uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.

CanItRun itself does not set any cookies. However, Microsoft Clarity may set cookies (such as_clck,_clsk, andCLID) for the purpose of session recording and visitor identification.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of the calculator.

Data retention

Clarity session recordings and analytics data are retained by Microsoft for up to 13 months. We do not store, export, or process any of this data ourselves.

Third-party sharing

CanItRun does not sell, rent, or share your data. However, Google AdSense — a third-party ad network — may collect and use data for advertising purposes in accordance with its own privacy policy. Analytics data collected by Microsoft Clarity is likewise governed by Microsoft's privacy policy. Relevant policies are linked below:

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data held about you. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion.

Because CanItRun does not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, we do not hold any data to access or delete on your behalf. For Clarity data, you can exercise your rights directly through Microsoft's privacy tools.

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Significant changes may also be announced via the project repository.
